Thought this was going to be a coal mining thread - it all kicked off on several Facebook groups over the weekend!

If i get a cut/bite/spot etc, it lasts for weeks, because I find it impossible to not pick the scab.

I used to play hockey on old school sandpaper astroturf all the time and had a ready supply of them.

Not as wrong as eating the dogs scabs after you’ve picked them.

Got some crackers on my shin at the mo courtesy on trying to jump on a large rock at Whitby and missing my foothold and sliding down the edge of the rock shin first, took me about a hour just to walk the pain off.

Good few weeks worth of prize scab picking ahead though.

I've kind of replaced the joy of scabs, with the extra-manky hydrocolloid plaster. Love these things.

Disappointed, thought this thread was about pork scratchings.
