Leading two parallel lives in the kitchen this evening trying to use up some surplus chicken.

On one hand have a sort of weird Puttanesca-cross-Arrabiatta on the hob, accompanied by a Yellow Tail 'Jammy Red Roo'.

Used up remaining chicken cobbling together a fajita dinner with Skyrr yoghurt in lieu of sour cream. All tasted great after a Tempest Brewing 'Spectral Haze'.

All accompanied with Tommy Guerrero's Anotherlatenight mix, and currently being washed down by a Brewdog Double Punk. Hic.

I ordered 5 pints of Hogs Back Nirvana session IPA but due to a communication error at the drive through brewery shop five sounds a bit like nine. Probably move onto gin in a bit as well.......

First Saturday of Nov is the same date every year when I meet up with my old Univ mates back in Durham. We left in 1990 so this is 30-odd years now and some of the lads have made every single one. Obvs not this year though so we met up online for a pint at opening time, and I'm about to go back online for the proper Zoom, expecting 15-20 of us to be there. I suppose that counts as listening, to a load of old duffers talking bollocks......

Eating - I suspect anything I can find later on, maybe a Deliveroo kebab?

Chips gravy and and a mediterranean steak burger.
My last couple of tins of Carlsberg to be followed by a Dark'n'Stormy or a Moscow Mule later.
Soft Machine Third and Six followed by some King Crimson.

It has been a great day of working and riding in the sun followed by the good news so maybe 2 Moscow Mules or whatever later.

Nice, spicy, different, they had a gin week special on Thursday at Lidl. Some different flavours to add to the cabinet.
Didnt fancy the chocolate orange one and don't bother with the liqueur ones

I'm quite a fan of that as well. There's a decent passion fruit one as well.

I've now moved on to the wonderful Brewdog ALD IPA - when two marketing genius companies collide
