No cut at all here for either. That's wasting valuable eating time.
PeterPoddy - MemberRectangles. Triangles are for ponces and southerners.
Coming from the man(?) with the dualit toaster who likes bread so thin he has to get someone else to slice it for him?
You're obviously an authority on the subject. ๐

who eats the rest of the sandwich esme.....
also . curse you mothers pride poster....
i cycled to the village this afternoon in search of some plain bread.
no dice.
Will have to go up the smoke and see if any of the big shops have it.
doesnt seem fashionable any more.... once upon a time i could consume a loaf of that in a day with jam.
Ffs southerners are not triangle cutters.
How in our green, pleasant and sun drenched part of the country where artisan hand kneaded rolls and delicately caressed and individually crafted loaves are the most basic of bready comestibles could we possibly cut such beautiful forms into mere triangles.
You northerners are completely lacking in an appreciation of the finer points of optimised bread shape subdivision.

Curse you, I now can't un-realise that!Rectangles. It's more efficient as it takes less time and the knife stays sharper for longer.
And it'll stay with you for life now.
Mwah, ha ,ha
As an experiment I cut my toast in half this morning.
Did not make the bread come alive

Triangles or rectangles?? ๐
You need a slightly bigger slice
Turned my squares into rectangles
Toast shouldn't be cut at all.
Sandwiches should be cut in half along their short axis.
