I'm quite partial to a bit of beef jerky whilst on bikepacking trips but I've never tried its fishy equivalent.
Had wind dried fish. Not quite the same but similar, i spose. Would have been cod or something I think.
Yeah but it was straight from a fishmonger in Vancouver - and it was bloody lovely (ditto candied salmon)

No, but I have grilled smoked salmon before. It was bloody lovely, like fishy bacon.

My cousin brought some over from Canada. I can only assume it was the worst possible and made only for tourists - it was like really fishy plastic and looked nothing like the pic in the link.
