I've just had the most wonderful chicken salad, & I was wondering if it could be bettered?
It contained roast chicken breast, grilled bacon medallions, stilton, walnuts & orange. Plus some green stuff (some continental salad leaves & wild rocket, vine cherry tomatoes & mixed peppers), all topped off with pizza express house light dressing (I guess light is good considering the meat content), with a side of garlic bread.
So as we are now entering salad season, share you best salad recipes with the rest of us.

Replace the chicken with Pilchards... or chilled smoked mackerel...

lucheom meat with egg in it
with loads of salad cream.
i now have QUORN 🙁
poor man, the chicken & bacon were ace! 🙁
