Danny Baker's been doing a nice sort-of tribute show to him on BBC London, but it ends in 15 mins.
Bloody hell, that's a real shame. I was having a good day until I read that. John was a real larger than life character who lived a rock'n'roll lifestyle while still being a folkie. He had real soul in his music, and he's going to be really sadly missed by people who appreciate real music sung with passion. RIP, John, the world is a poorer place without you in it.

Sad news, loved some of his stuff, wonderful voice he produced some incredibly soulful folk music.
