Two very very different things as I found out tonight!
The little lady has qualified for county cross country trials and being the good dad said I'd take her out for a few training runs nearer the time and push her a bit. She's been out with the wife who runs regular 10k's but in 55mins ish. The trial is 1.3 miles so we went for it tonight.
Set off like a **** and she stuck with me the whole way. 13 mins and 1.6 miles later she had rosey cheeks I had near on coronary failure and body crippling cramp. ๐Ÿ˜†

She's a little young to object to a bloke calling her the "little lady", but the punishment seems effective! ๐Ÿ˜†

Yep, I found that out just over a year ago when I started doing triathlons, running knocks lumps out of me, although doing a marathon as the final leg of an Ironman was quite pleasant ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
