Mega chuffed seeing Curry walking out for England, it's been great seeing him and his brother develop at Sale, hard to believe that just a couple of years ago they were at 6th form!!

I’ve got to take my daughter to a friend‘s house 10 miles away just as the players are in the tunnel. Should be back just when the Irish anthems finish...

Tom English summed things up well for Scotland today." The entire Scotland bench made a statement with their performances today, and that statement is "Don't let me anywhere near the team!"

Henshaw's positioning at 15 poor too many easy kicks to space, Ireland also losing aerial battle. Have they got a plan B?

Still not convinced Healy grounded the ball- looked like an English hand was underneath.

Well done Slade...big 15 mins ahead of us now. Still can’t take much more of this! It’s too tense.

I’m just waiting for us to balls it up.

English defence won that - immense tackling - not too many stupid pens - properly impressive.

Well - I enjoyed that! May was Imperious in the air. Murray’s famous box kicks too long today.

Chatting to an old Irish chap all match - he kept shaking his head in respect to the Rngland defence.

I’ve said for a while that Ireland’s mistake is peaking a year early. Teams are now analysing their known style for counter-plans.

Well done England, some nifty play there.
Not so happy they got a bonus point though.

Wow. I didn’t see that result coming, I genuinely didn’t think that we’d have any answer for Ireland’s tactical kicking, nouce and generally accurate game. Downside is that there are a few injuries (although lock is one position where we actually have a few options).

Slade had a good game. Made a few big tackles, scored a couple of tries etc. Mako got through another mountain of work. The five points missed by Farrell didn’t cost us the game.

Suddenly Ireland going away to Murrayfield looks tough. England should beat France at Twickers then on to Cardiff....I'm getting my slam busting pants out the bottom draw!!

Haha!! I fancy Wales to beat us....was the 30-3 slam busting mega win the last time you beat us in the 6n's? Neither team ever usually wins this many in a row between us!

Where is the Wales Ireland match? Could be the key game now.....England Wales will be a corcker though.

God I ****ing love the 6 Nations!!!

Well, I’ll be ****ed. Superhuman defence from England meant Ireland got more and more ragged.

O’Mahoney’s appraisal of Sinckler caught on mic is pretty right, though!

Wales are playing both Ireland and England in Cardiff.

Lets not mess around. Ireland were well beaten. Beaten at home. Beaten tactically. Beaten players 1 - 15.
I said to my mate before the game that we hadn't seen an england team unencumbered by injury to key players for well over a year and that this should be how good the england team are/could be. Some may disagree, but I think Manu is hugely important to their success which is worrying given his history.
Given the performances so far, it won't make a jot of difference where wales play england, it'll be a thrashing wherever.

He was massive in defence, taking several out of the line before they had even approached it.  For a player that’s supposed to be undercooked and a little past it he didn’t do to bad.  Anyone notice the hit on James Ryan that had Ryan clutching his arm?  He swallowed Aki as well.

I actually think he’s outplayed Teo by a long chalk and is about to become first choice. I guess it’s easy to say when you are winning but for once our back line looks like it’ll worry people.  May was very awesome, and Curry was a menace.

I was impressed with Billy V, when Itoje went off to be replaced by Hughes Billy had to go the full 80 and he did it well for such a big bloke.

Hope Itoje is OK for next week, not sure what England would do without all he cheering and clapping!

clap
