There's a very insightful article on the BBC titled Wales have a chance. No shit Sherlock. Thanks for that.

Halfpenny is out with a foot infection. Bad luck after a bloody good performance last week. Replaced by Anscombe with Watkin taking the vacant bench spot. Not ideal but I think they'll still sneak it.

Liam was an option apparently because he's in London but apparently he wasn't deemed to be match sharp following his injury.

Anscombe at 15 with Evans and Adams is a very green back 3...fully second string backs and backrow? If Wales win it'll be a ****ing miracle!!

AA - I’m still haunted by the RWC match at Twickenham - you barely had 15 fit players & a 9 on the wing that day 😩

It’s 0520 here in San Francisco. I didn’t land until 0300 UK local time last night. Off to the Chieftan to watch the match, before a long bike ride in Marin County 😎. I will either be fuelled by euphoria, or the utter despair of a home loss to Wales!!

Looks like it’s a shame Twickers doesn’t have a roof as the rain starts in the ladies match.

I’m with a_a, earlier in the week Wales had and outside chance - now they need something miraculous. Still dreaming though 🙂

Not sure - Wales this year are playing like the scarlets. Not really the game for a wet cold day.

I was led to believe the rain would suit England.

Good luck to Italy this afternoon (they’ll no doubt need it). Hope to see Larmour playing well for Ireland  if he comes on, only seen clips but he looks exciting to watch.

I’m still not confident. Being massive underdogs seate it in for them to go out ther okay out of their skins and piss on our chips.

England ladies about to nil Wales ladies. It’s not really fair given that England had contracts up until recently etc.

Aha - this week I've found the ITV HD channel.  Much less fuzzy.  Also supporting Italy.

Bravo Italy for not totally capitulating.

Ireland have all the momentum they could wish for in this tournament now.

They do but how much will they miss Furlong & Henshaw vs England?  As someone said earlier in the thread, one goo showing from Italy and although the haven't capitulated they look far worse than last week which is flattering Ireland.

If, and IMO its a big if we lose against Wales later they could be on for the GS, but England could spoil and it may come down to PD between the two.  On current evidence England need to get points on Scotland to counter the PD gained in this match.

Worcester have just beaten Exeter away from home! Bloody hell.

Was hoping the Italian winger was going by to make it for the fourth try.

I'm more disgusted by CW wearing a tie with a button down collar.

Punishable by death when I come to power.

Yet you get wound up about such small things 😀

CFH, I'm with you there, Burtons shirts FFS, a man of his station should have some arrangement with Charles Twirrttch (sp).

For AA - Gar-eth.  Happy now?  😉

Somewhat OT but I’m surprised that there’s nothing they can apply to their hands so that they can grip the ball better in the wet.

Nice kick from Farrell for May’s try. Shit conversation attempt though.

Hartley off for an HIA after 40 seconds.

Is it my imagination of is Farrell taking longer to kick?  Its not working for him.

Farrell seems to be having killed cling lessons from Ford but he’s looked pretty good on the loose.

Hartley back on.

🙁

I guess it’s the same for each team, but the time allowed for an advantage seems too long to me.
