Ok, I'll relax now and enjoy the last 5 minutes. Pity about the conditions

Well - Aus like to fly up in defence, so always vulnerable to a good grubber!!!

Finally and England team ruthless in the last 15.

Always a pleasure to beat Australia 😀

Strange old scoreline! At 65 minutes I thought a 13-13 draw a fair result !

What happened

Wales did a France and claimed no fit props when Francis got binned for being more stupid than a labotomised chicken.

I think if you cause uncontested scrums, the opposition should get the put-in every time

I agree dantsw13. Or a free kick to the opposition.

Lots of controversial calls in that game. The only one I’m not sure of was if Daley’s try was in touch. I agreed with both yellows and both disallowed tries.

I thought Daley try was ok on balance - sooner see them given than not.

I thought disallowing first Oz try was a bit harsh, thought not only did number Iz 14 run Hooper onside but also reset the offside line in front of Hooper when he kicked the ball. Then again if he'd just dropped on the ball himself...

The second Oz try was definitely pen for blocking, but I thought Moore was unlucky as he was expecting the ball rather than deliberately getting in the way.

Not sure the Murrayfield crowd attempt to wind up the all blacks was a good idea !!

Hope our Northern brethren can do something. I've a soft spot for Scotland since I was fed a good few wee drams by Scotland fans at the Samoa game in RWC

Not really. Hooper never took a step back, and was previously sin binned for cheating.

Hooper often falls the wrong side of the line, you demonstrate that form to the ref what do you expect.

The ref just gave a penalty for squeeze ball - what year is it?

Naholo tackles Hogg in the air and the commentator suggests that a red card is an option?

Great stuff from Scotland so far. Inspired by Doddie - so sad to see him suffering. I have a friend in the same situation at it’s awful to watch.

This outcome driven stuff is ?able. If Hogg has landed on his head no doubt it would have been red

Respect the kicker ???? 😯

I hate booing at rugby matches so I am hoping the All Blacks thump Scotland in the 2nd half. Booing during the Haka is just bad form from the Scottish supporters.

Agreed - long history and poor show. It’s not even England either.

But that aside great performance from Scotland

Hoggie really up for it !! Hope they can carry this on in 2H

Well they've booed absolutely everything that hasn't gone their way, even Seymour very obviously taking the ball into his own in-goal area. Do they expect the ref to ignore things out of charity?

NZ haven't really started playing yet.If Scotland can stop them doing that they'll win. Not many teams can do that, though.

Might put a tenner on Scotland v England in 6N as it is at Boofield - always a chance that they get some revenge from last year if they play like this

It’s like watching a game at the Stagnhenality.

I'm not sure Naholo tackled him really so a red would have been very harsh imo.

True - but this is where the outcome based issue comes in.

Good win for England although the score flatters us a tad...

Great half from Scotland - hope they can keep it up!

Watson had a good 20mn until he went off - TJ clearly has a point!

It’s like watching a game at the Stagnhenality.

If there's booing in Cardiff it tends to be because Cuthbert has passed the ball to the linesman. Or tripped over the corner flag. Or run into a post. Or whichever of his amusing japes he's managed to produce to avoid actually catching the ball and scoring.

A Nicoll remarkably restrained - and they are not even losing 😀

I’ll take that win over Australia even if two of the worst minutes of play this weekend lead to the first try. Thought Lawes was very very good.

Scotland look to be swimming against the black tide having failed to take their opportunities in the first half.

How many high tackles are the ABs going to get away with ?

Damn I am criticising the ref now.

I reckon TJ Perenara is my least favourite player in world rugby, blokes a tool

Edit, Barrett is a bit good isn't he!

Considering all the penalties on the line, why no penalty try?

Ah great stuff from Hogg, cops a lot of stick for being a tool at times, in bits in his interview though, great player going forwards

Scotland played well for much of the game but let ourselves down by not executing simple plays and set pieces at key moments. It's the same old story.

Cracking game. Doffs virtual cap to the Scots. I would have cried tears of joy had Hogg gone in at the end!!

Considering all the penalties on the line, why no penalty try?

No clear try scoring opportunity.

It's a crying shame really. They were good enough to win that but couldn't score due to all of the cheating going on. Shite scrum though.

No, we've agreed that there's no cheating on the pitch - the refs are all excellent. 😆
