Hope you enjoy the game TJ and hope Edin can get the win. It really depends which Toulouse side turns up on the day, just hope its the won that doesn't travel well!

33 000+ tickets sold as of last week - we could break the record!

Looking forward to this. Edinburgh really could do it.

Great win. Not the best of games, too many mistakes and defence dominating but what a hard nosed performance from Edinburgh. To only have a 4 pt deficit with a double sin bin is great and to stop Toulouse and to keep taking the ball off them is just fantastic. 22 turnovers according to ESPN

Very impressed with how the 'Burg closed that game down. Far from what I had expected! Great sound from the full parts of the ground too! Top stuff all round!

Well done Edinburgh great result. Cardiff did better than I expected too. Those two idiots pretending to becoaches need taking out and shooting.

A-A I felt really sorry for Cardiff. They were playing the best team in the comp by a country mile and just didn't have the quality to live with them. I would be scared to let my COUNTRY play a full strength Leinster.Cardiff competed well where they had the quality to do so and the way the fire still burns in Williams was brilliant. They lost probably 5-7 individual battles and didn't seem to set out with anything other than a plan of containment, which worked for a few mins 😆 . Once they started conceding tries they were strangers for the rest of the first half.

Blues are a shambles. Two blokes coaching who have no experience, losing players such as Laulala, gethin, rees, parks, Williams, yapp and maybe Cuthbert. Rush, molitika past there best, Roberts doesn't really play for them and neither does warburton. The welsh regions are screwed, shit Tandy is head coach of the O's who has he coached before?

What a game, the Ulster defence was outstanding, our first win in 20 years in Limerick, awesome. The effort from every player was immense the hunger inm every tackle.

No offense TJ but I reckon Ulster will be in the final, looking forward to Dublin in a few weeks! Fancy a pint?

Blindmelon - non taken. Edinburgh will fear no one and in a knockout anything can happen but Edinburgh must be the weakest of the semifinalists and will be away from home. A tough call for them to reach the final.

Hopefully it will be a more open game and a bit less attrtional than this afternoons effort. Edinburgh have nothing to lose so it will be closer than you might think.

well after it 1/2p was bleeding under the eye, consdiering Richie Rees amongst others have been banned for accidentaly making contact with the eye area, I think BOD should be careful where he puts his hannds.

Its a bit of something and nothing to be honest, but I think any face hand contact should be looked at in this case the ball isnt a million miles away but it still looks careless IMO.

Edinburgh can of course beat them. Ulster are not as good as Leinster, Ulster would be favourites buts it should be a good contest.

I think Ulster have had their match in this years HC an amazing performance but cant see them doing it again. Edinburg arent a great team either so should be a great match. Nice that no english sides are left 😉

Ha ha just checked the table Edinburg are behind Treviso 😆 what does that tell us?

Edinburgh can definately beat Ulster, the previous Ulster wins over Edinburgh in the league don't really tell much of a story as the international players weren't avaiable for either match. However it will be very tough for them and local papers are predicting around 25,000 Ulster fans in Dublin for the game.

Pigface, which 'match' are you referring to, the bonus point win over the Tigers, beating Clermont or Munster at Thomond. It takes more than one good performance to reach the semi's!

That with a wage bill of £3.5m Scottish teams struggle to compete in two tournaments in a year due to lack of depth?

Edinburgh lost 7 league games in a row when their international players were away. Edinburgh more than Glasgow simply do not have the depth to cope with loosing virtually their entire first team to the international setup

Is the Pro12 a tournament?

Kudos on your pedantry, sir. Please consider that a point scored.

Actually, the HC isn't even a real tournament now that there are no English teams left:

I wasn't being a pedant, I genuinely didn't know what it was classed as.
Perhaps you shouldn't have such a negative view.

Actually, the HC isn't even a real tournament now that there are no English teams left:

Nor welsh.
What's the point of that link? Since 2003, england and wales have played each other 12 times, each have won 6, so HC success means nothing to the national teams at all. Look at Scotland/edinburgh this season.

Sorry, should have included winkies or something. Having a North of the Border-centric view I tend to assume that everyone knows what the Pro12 is.

Anyway. No, the Pro12 isn't a tournament, it's a league.

There wasn't really much point in that link, I guess. I just found it funny that an English fan (yes I know, ONE English fan) writes a blog titled 'Europe - Does it matter' after the last of the English teams gets knocked out.

I'm sure a Scottish blogger would probably write the same thing if we had a moderately successful national side and unsuccessful club sides. As it is we're just grateful for whatever we can get.
