All a bit harum scarum but that Italy try was a thing of beauty.

Nice to see both Scotland wings getting into the game. Two crucial early injuries will cost us tho.

A wee bit squeaky bum time but in the end a decent win. Duhan man of the match!

Scotland are on a roll, two consecutive away wins!

2 wins against tier 2 nations is hardly a roll.

Lets be honest, it is for Scotland.

Although Wales and Scotland are equal in one area, Wales have won 4 six nations grand slams, Scotland 4 wooden spoons

😂😂 very good.

I tried to find out when Scotland did last win two consecutive games away, but I couldn’t find records going back far enough. Does anyone know?

Always liked John Jefferies, proper nutter!

I once met him at a Train station at the Scottish Borders. Although very scary to approach, he turned out to be a thoroughly nice bloke to talk with.

This last thing he afforded me me after asking what position I played was "don't be like Will, he's shit" 😀

I am sure we will have won two away games in succession on tours as well.

Watching the game in Italy on Prime and yay! You can turn off the fake crowd noise.

But it has to be watched live, no rewinding or recording and the quality (on my TV at least) isn't as good as normal TV. It's like watching rugby in the 70s again. (I had a brief glance at Prime last night but couldn't see an option to watch a replay of the game - I'd assume you can watch after the fact?)

That’s a bit unfair AA, give the other side some credit. Amazon are showing it too.

You can watch the replays if you like. I mean; only if you have no lint left in your belly button, toenails are on point and nostril hair is taken care of. All of those activities are better than any of the games. However all is not lost; YouTube has the whole of the NZ v Argentina game and it was a cracker.

Bbc are reporting that Botham will start on Saturday. I did not expect that a week ago. I’m surprised that he is ahead of Taine Basham in the pecking order, I have to say.

Great to see Sheedy and LRZ start.

I guess Navidi and Moriarty are still borked then.

So the thinking is

L Williams; McNicholl, Tompkins, J Williams, Rees-Zammit; Sheedy, Hardy; Jones, Dee, Lee, Ball, Davies, Tipuric (capt), Botham, Wainwright.

Hopefully Zammit can come in to the wing and Williams go to 15 for England. Although having McNicholl take the inevitable spanking v england might be better.

Wales: Liam Williams; Johnny McNicholl, Nick Tompkins, Johnny Williams, Louis Rees-Zammit; Callum Sheedy, Kieran Hardy; Wyn Jones, Elliot Dee, Samson Lee, Jake Ball, Seb Davies, James Botham, Justin Tipuric (capt), Aaron Wainwright.

Replacements: Sam Parry, Nicky Smith, Leon Brown, Cory Hill, James Davies, Rhys Webb, Ioan Lloyd, Jonah Holmes

Nice to see Lloyd on bench, backs look handy assuming any of them other than Liam can tackle

England:

15. Elliot Daly (Saracens, 44 caps)
14. Jonathan Joseph (Bath Rugby, 52 caps)
13. Ollie Lawrence (Worcester Warriors, 2 caps)
12. Henry Slade (Exeter Chiefs, 31 caps)
11. Jonny May (Gloucester Rugby, 58 caps)
10. Owen Farrell (c) (Saracens, 85 caps)
9. Ben Youngs (Leicester Tigers, 101 caps)
1. Mako Vunipola (Saracens, 61 caps)
2. Jamie George (Saracens, 51 caps)
3. Kyle Sinckler (Bristol Bears, 37 caps)
4. Maro Itoje (Saracens, 40 caps)
5. Joe Launchbury (Wasps, 66 caps)
6. Tom Curry (Sale Sharks, 25 caps)
7. Sam Underhill (Bath Rugby, 19 caps)
8. Billy Vunipola (Saracens, 53 caps)

Finishers

16. Tom Dunn (Bath Rugby, 2 caps)
17. Ellis Genge (Leicester Tigers, 20 caps)
18. Will Stuart (Bath Rugby, 5 caps)
19. Jonny Hill (Exeter Chiefs, 1 cap)
20. Ben Earl (Bristol Bears, 5 caps)
21. Dan Robson (Wasps, 4 caps)
22. George Ford (Leicester Tigers, 69 caps)
23. Max Malins (Bristol Bears, 1 cap)

Strong team and shaping to be a good match with Ireland. As it’s at home I’m going England by 10pts with some scares.

Is Lawes injured?

Looks like basically a full strength starting XV.....are we really that short of fit wingers that we're sticking Joseph out there though? He's not great under the high ball. Nowell is injured, is Watson? Cockanasiga? Solomona?
