I was expecting an item from eBay last week, tracking said due Thursday. Nothing arrived, but when I got home on Friday from doing some shopping there was a red ‘Sorry we missed you’ card on the mat, with ‘your safe place’ ticked, and ‘parcel box’ written on it. (I have a black kitchen waste bin outside for parcels). Checked, and nothing there. Went to the sorting office, explained the situation and the chap copied the card, took my number and said he’d check with the postie. <br />I was out earlier today, got home and had an eBay item delivered notification on my phone, checked the box outside and the item was there! <br />I’d assumed that the package had been nicked, so ordered another one from somewhere else, (it’s a case for a bow sight), because I needed a couple of other items as well, so now I’m going to have to return the first one.<br />I just can’t figure out why I had the card through the door on Thursday, when the parcel was still in transit. 🤷🏼
I had a great one with Evri. Paid for a priority tracked service. Received a message stating ‘unable to deliver’ finally managed to get through to a person by, I’m assuming, breaking the Chat Bot with sarcasm. The brilliant excuse was that the driver couldn’t find my house as it is difficult to find.
My house is painted white, has the name of my road and the next road literally attached to it. Is on a prominent bend and is the first thing you see when going around said bend. ****s
As suspected. Yodel have successfully delivered my parcel to some random address it would seem. Nice picture of doors I don’t recognise and my parcel.

Text msg from Parcelforce saying "your delivery is due today between 12.30 and 16.30", then some options, i.e. text 1 for delivery to a neighbour.
I texted 1, got a confirmation msg. Then 3 hours later got another msg saying "sorry you were out, we couldn't deliver."
FFS! You literally gave me an option, I chose it, and you've ignored it and done something else.
