My Google fu has completely failed me this morning..

I'm sure that's Geoff Tate / Queensryche playing, but just can't find the song...

Saw mindcrime live at Poole Arts centre back in the day.

It's better as a studio album IMO. Still great to have seen them though.

Great band, shame they split up. Not heard anything? from Tate after he went solo. Mind you after the abomination that was Mindcrime 2 maybe not such a bad thing 🙂

Saw them totally blow Judas Priest out of the venue with their performance as the support act a few years ago (as Queensryche and with Geoff Tate)

yes, just been listening to some of their more recent stuff on Spotify, and it's not a patch on their older albums...

Empire and Operation: Mindcrime are two of the best rock/metal albums out there.

Saw them on the Op Mindcrime tour at the Hammersmith Apollo back in the day. One of the best gigs I ever saw (and I wasn't familiar with them before going either - went with a friend who was a fan).

Still listen to those now and again, a couple of very accomplished albums.

My first ever proper gig was Queensryche, the empire tour at the Newport Centre. played the whole mindcrime ablum live, superb.

everything was fine including promised land album, then it all just went iffy.
