hey guys just turning 17 and am looking at road legal pit bikes but have been looking at new ones, doesnt seem to be may about after 2 days of looking :/ Anyone know a make that sells them new or any good ones looking at spending up to 1500

You are going to look long and hard . 1500 buys nowt but crap new and the expense of making them road legal to a maufacturer isn't worth it. You may find the odd one thats has been dragged through inspections etc by an importer but why bother. Do you really want a bike that is only half size, has an engine like an hand grenade and will be a pig to insure. Go and get something like a XR 125 and pass your test. You'll thank me when you do!

1500 beans should get you a decent DT125, which will be a great bike and a world away from some shit chinese pit bike.
Once you've got the bug (and a bigger bike) you'll sell on a DT for pretty much what you paid if you look after it.
