Classic "I am a doctor therefore my opinion matters"...see also "wearing a helmet has saved your life".

That's years old. Any road cyclist will tell you that it never gets any easier; you just get faster.

There was a similar tongue-in-cheek article in Climber & Rambler where they assessed various chocolate bars for their strength when frozen and hammered into the snow to be used as belays. I think Mars bars won.
