Hi

I am hoping somebody can help with this problem. Whenever I ride I am plagued by very loud and frequent burping. The doc says it is something called aerophaglia. Apparently this is when I take in large gulps of air but a lot of it is going into my stomach rather than my lungs.

The doc had to google it themselves to find out what it was and have not been able to give any further advice on how to cure it.

Anybody else suffer with this or am I a complete oddball.

Any help or info would be much appreciated

I love loud burping - when its me doing it.
I can dispense with my bell when on top form.
Slight change in the public's reaction to my audible warning, though.

Yeh I get that a lot too. Maybe I shouldn't ride with my mouth open.

How much time are you waiting after a meal/drink before you ride?

I find it impossible to get enough air in my lungs by breathing though my nose when I'm out on the bike.
