Hi Everyone

I posted this earlier in the year but I'm currently doing my post grad (masters) in sport performance and my research dissertation is looking into the effect of nasal vs oral breathing. I'm recruiting participants between the age of 18-60 (M/F) to take part. If you are close to High Wycombe in Bucks (Bucks New Uni) and would like to help please contact me either via the forum or on hlpjones@outlook.com.

Best

Harvey

I'm nowhere near but would be interested in reading anonymised findings if possible? More curiosity than anything else.

What about the third breathing option? You know, the one when it feels like the saddle is being sucked internally

What tempertures are you doing the tests at? I find I naturally take in a bigger proportion of air through the nose the further the temperature drops below zero. No need for sticking plaster on the nose or anything it's just more comfortable that way.

Any how dubious are your participants, I was a more than a little bit surprised to see Laurent Jalabert leading the Tour out on his own up the Col d'Aubisque with his mouth shut.
