I guess this will probably be one of the most straight forward questions asked on here ๐Ÿ™‚

Got an Opal polycarbonate on the conservatory at the moment that's attached to the living room. At the moment the living room is so dark, plus the obvious conservatory being boiling in summer, freezing in the winter. The conservatory faves East and we're looking at clear glass (it's got the anti up coating etc) with no tint to let more light into the living room, will the conservatory be usable with the glass or will we have issues with glare etc and end up having to install blinds?

How long does the sun shine on it in the mornings?

We went from an old conservatory with polycarb roof to new build with Pilkington K glass. Still freezing during the winter but definitely cooler during the summer. We held off on the blinds which proved to be a good decision as a we simply don't need them. West facing but the south side and roof are fully exposed to the sun.

Will your existing structure support the dead weight of the glass units. They're heavy !
