so they are cutting the womens completely and just shoeing some of the mens??
What a waste of space, freecaster had so much more last year, very pissed off

I'm enjoying watching this chap install stuff on his laptop, on the Extreme.com livefeed.
I think what is happening is they are going to show the women's [i]not live[/i] at 12.15, followed by the top 30 men.
Makes sense- they used to have a lot of problems since the lower end of the field only has 30 second gaps- that can mean an awful lot of riders on track at the same time. (at the world champs last year the womens' was a total mess since it took all but the elites days to get to the bottom)
half the fun northwind!! basically in the name of progress and rocky road we get f'all coverage for a full 4 days of a race meeting.

They did try it but no one bought it ....so instead its free and experiencing teething problems.
Yesterday's coverage was still good apart from Rob Warners obvious limited knowledge of elite XC but he was sat with SChurters manager and it was good.
no it was free and at a nice speed last year, they tried 1 race paid and then went back to free. I watched every round without any problems this is a heap of crap compared to last year

Ultimately very good IMO. Especially for free.
Great start to the race season and good too see all the riders giving it the best they could!
I thought the coverage was OK and it was the first time they had put this together, I didn't however like the look of the fat UCI prick with the blue tshirt and baseball cap at the end of the race, who was blocking the riders from leaving the race when they had finished.
Was very pleased to see Danny Hart give him the option of getting rammed or moving aside and one of the other riders stopped his bike right in front of the cock and just stared right at him over it.
The UCI take too many liberties and assholes blocking riders from leaving races especially when they're not going onto the podium just to parade them in front of crowds when they are injured also tired after racing, for me wasn't the kind of attitude or behaviour towards athletes in our culture I want to see!
I loved the coverage, the xc course looked great and some great shots.

i think the guys' sponsors would disagree with you
they want TV time for their kit.
the riders at least owe them that, as well as the fans at the end want to see the competitors, not sulking prima donnas.
edit: i do agree that the prick blocking the way could have managed his task a little less 'asshole-like'

Or possibly waiting to ensure that the rider does not leave the arena without being chaperoned to the UCI test centre for urine testing 😉
