As above. We're looking at potential UK holiday destinations for the summer and the New Forest is somewhere we're considering.

Anyone got any recommendations for accommodation or just general locations?

Sandy Balls is a good shout. Extremely family oriented.

Personally I would skip the new forest and head to the Jurassic Coast instead. More interesting and fewer ****ers.

We stayed in a really nice holiday cottage type place, not olde wolrdy cute but just a real nice place, big modern kitchen, 4 bedrooms, fenced off garden so kids could run around with escaping and harassing the wildlife. It was near Brockenhurst. If you're interested I can get the details Sunday sometime (I didn't book it, so I'll need to get the details off the person that did)
