Any B&B recommendations for a weekend in December?
We're looking for somewhere nice with a guest lounge for relaxing once it's dark. Ideally north lakes, up near Keswick and with easy access to food/pubs. I don't want to have to drive to a pub but don't mind walking a mile or so.
Also not too expensive, say up to £100/night.

Not sure how bike friendly these are but stayed 5-6 years ago and it was a great place....just round the corner from the George 'Cow Pie' Hotel in Keswick. Well recommended.

Edwardene Hotel Keswick or Raise View Grasmere are both good & have lounges..
