Hmm - it has been a good 10 years since I went to Cramond Inn and current reviews suggest standards may have dropped somewhat...

THATS IT!

Blimey only on STW can you vaguely describe a restaurant by style of food in a city and get an answer ๐Ÿ˜€

Chop chop has gone downhill since it was on Gordon Ramsey's show and opened up a branch down in leith. Food was average, service was terrible.

Cramond inn is a chain pub and hasn't been good for a long while.

I would taxi it down to leith and try 'a room in leith'.

Would avoid town just now if you don't like failed actors trying to give you leaflets. ๐Ÿ˜€

Buffalo Grill in Stockbridge is quite good.

Iglu - on Jamaica Street does really nice food.

About 25 and 35 minutes walk respectively from Ferry Road

Ah, we used to get a table there no problems but the last few times we've been up its been fully booked so we elected to have a takeaway which was eye-wateringly expensive. Figures.
