For what its worth I remember back in the day when Funk was dying out in the Underground clubs in Central London and then Funk Jazz started up by Two DJ's George Power played at Crackers/Billies/Gossips and Paul Murphy at the HorseShoe and we called it Jazz Funk to kill the name Funk as it was dead. After that Jazz funk become more like POP Music for the Old Soul boys of Essex to listen too. Then the Two above DJ's become more Latin and Jazz fusion which is much better indeed.

I haven't seen any Billy Cobham on here yet - which is what I regard as Jazz Funk.

And when I log into my Spotify premium account I can't find Surfer's playlist. I can only get into it through the link on this thread. How do I find it, and is there a STW community on Spotify?
