Have recently been having a bit of a dance music revival after a few years of listening to acoustic singer/song writer stuff, now a bit bored of that and back into my dance music.
So started out with discovering Above & beyond (bit late I know), both their own music and their mixes and have been working through the Anjunabeats/Anjunadeep cds. Some of them border on a little commercial/cheesey, but they are good for the car/sat at the computer doing mundance tasks (AutoCAD).
So Anything in a similar vein to A&B/Anjunabeats? (maybe a little less cheesey/commercial?)
Ive done all/most of the global undergrounds unless anything good has come out in the last few years? Got a bit bored of them just churning stuff out in the past.
So whats new/fresh? (guessing the answer will be dubstep ๐ - which I like but Ive heard too much of it recently)
Cheers in Advance
Have a hunt on Youtube for Ferry Corsten - his podcasts are on there or on itunes too.
P Oakenfold does a podcasts on itunes too.
For progressive....THE best website on the face of the earth (and has been for over a decade)
Hybridized
Hundreds of sets from Way out West, Hybrid and a host of others, all for free. I've got some that Way out West did in 1992 that are on there.
Jody Wisternoff/Nick Warren (both individually and as WOW) both give exclusive rights to Hybridized to some of their sets (e.g. they record their own set and give it to the guy who runs the site).
It's immense.
A dj friend of mine did this progressive house mix last year...

Have you done the lowendtheory podcasts?
Not quite what you're asking for, but the whiff of cheddar is pleasantly absent ๐

Nice variety here too

You could try anything by Yahel, Aum Project, Aphid Moon (more psy trance but worth a wiggle), Scumfrog(DJ mixes), Lee Burridge(DJ mixes).
And how about some Lily Allen???? Not Fair - Style of Eye Remix

Going to check out the Hybridized site... sounds good.
Generally, I just stick on oakenfold's R1 Goa set...
Try the Above & Beyond Trance Around The World (TATW) free poscast. 2 hours every week, brilliant.
