The Wire - but be prepared for it to ruin every other TV drama you watch.

The West Wing? £15 a series on iTunes. If you like that, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is also pretty good.

Trailer Park Boys? 1st series takes a bit of perserverence, then it's the funniest thing ever made. I want to be Ricky, though.

Life on mars - brilliant, and with a brilliant ending. Ashes to Ashes is rubbish but has a fit bird in it to keep you entertained

The Wire - Best TV I have ever seen

Lost and 24 - perfectly watchable and plenty of it

Doc Martin - pretty funny

My next Boxset will be the shield

NCIS - not sure why but I'm uttelry hooked
NCIS: Los Angeles - again not sure why but I'm hooked - a different thing to NCIS

That is the only 'tv' I watch religiously (apart from CBeebies with my daughter but that doesn't really count as there is no continuity between episodes of whatever it is that is on!!!)

How about some comedy? Spaced, Father Ted, Black Books, IT crowd, 15 storeys high?
Or some anime, Noein is amazing, or Cowboy Bebop, Ninja Scrolls......
Bit subjective this.

Curb your enthusiasm! Best comedy in YEARS.

All the UK stuff like Black Books, Father Ted etc. has been repeated to DEATH.

For some reason I'm typing like the Beastie BOYS.

Depends if you've actually seen the repeats though, and I'm pretty certain 15 storeys hasn't ever been repeated.
You're right on Curb your enthusiasm though, very good.
