looking to rent a self catering ski chalet in France next winter.
looking for something that would take 7 people close to the slopes or in resort.
Have you been somewhere you'd recommend?
Nice appartment in a chalet in morzine. Stayed there last year, great price and close to both lifts (50m from super morzine bubble). Clean, very good agents, for up to 9 people 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Ski storage just outside the front door.

Stayed here on a summer cycling holiday, would have a drag lift within 100 metres in the winter, not much more to the gondola - can ski Alpe d'Huez area from Oz. Chalet is lovely.
@scholar, perhaps you should start the 2014/15 Ski and Snowboard thread. Really we need more info, what time of year, what type of skiing (beginner/intermediate/off piste/all), purpose built or picturesque, max transfer time, good nightlife, good restaurants, off the beaten track (i.e. minimal Brits 🙂 ), budget ...
