I spend about an hour+ running a day, (mostly alone) and whilst I mainly enjoy the sounds around me I sometimes like to listen to radio. Mainly radio 4.
Can anyone recommend me a very small reliable radio that gives decent FM reception? or DAB?

Thanks all.

I have a Creative Nano MP3 player with FM radio. I doubt you can get them any more but there will be something similar. Radio reception is through the headphone cable/aerial and can be "variable" when moving. Great combo for me.

This may or may not be a help, but if you have an iPhone there's an app available called iCarradio. It allows streaming of radio stations over the standard phone network. I've listened to BBC 6Music at work where a Pocket DAB just couldn't get a signal due to my work building having all metal walls. The quality was quite amazingly good, vastly better than most pocket FM radios, unless you have the luxury of living in a city with a good transmitter. There is a DAB radio made by Roberts, IIRC, that plugs into the dock of an iPod, but the same caveat applies to the FM radios: the aerial is your headphone lead, so reception where the signal's shonky is an issue.
