I am looking for a small plant/tree/bush for my desk at work. Needs to be about 150mm x 150mm x 300mm. Something that smells nice would be good 🙂

I'm 6'1 and I ride in the southampton area.

Any particular reason for the question?

If you got a baobab tree you could hollow out the middle and put your desk inside.

in that case i'd go for something like an aloe - right sort of size, grows nicely without too much water/attention, looks pleasant and will help your skin heal if you stack it at the weekend.

Chilli plant.

Looks cool, loads of different varieties and, best of all, edible fruit.

Just don't use Morrison's budget compost. I did for my plants and I now have loads of small flies buzzing around the office.

Mental note... Buy fly paper
