Evening Folks,

Have to take some lieu time that has managed to grow into a week that i need to take.

So......can anyone recommend me a place to go for a holiday! Looking for somewhere with a good beach, good weather, good night life (im not really into Ibiza or Magaluf type places), laid back, cool people, no football tops, places to go, preferably away from the 'brits abroad'.....

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Mucho thanks.

Tunisia is lovely.

Mainland Greece also a good call, you could do a lot worse than try a Neilson holiday. Lots to do (Bikes, boards, boats, tennis, etc) and lots fo decent folks to banter with.

all inclusive complex sounds like a severe OCD or a prison

2nd or 3rd for the basque country. beaches, sun, culture, no yobs, great nightlife, beautiful girls. You might get some football tops though, they love it out here!

Good you've got some lieu time, you know, life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while you might miss it.

If you do go to the basque country, check out the Guggenheim, the architecture's better than the collection but it's still worth the trip.

How about one of the smaller Greek Islands - they all have the beeches and great laid back nightlife. Just go for one that isn't in the main holiday companies' brochures...

Paxos is great, so is Lesvos.

Well they all are actually...

I had a very happy week with Sierra Cycling earlier in the year. Excellent spot, dead easy to get to, very relaxed and some great riding. Just so Alan doesn't have to plug himself. ๐Ÿ™‚

The fire regulations are very strict in Bilbao.

Apparently you mustn't put all your basques in one exit.
