Morning, bought a cheap 18650 charger and the spring has broken inside, it's the 2nd one that's done this, (actually it's my mates!)
Can anyone recommend a "safe" charger? Had a look on Amazon and can only find cheap ones that explode!

XTAR WP2 from ebay - around £10 to £15 but one of the best you can get
Also just a thought, can you use 3xAAA's in place of a 18650 using an adapter? Probably be safer to use legit batts rather than cheap batts and chargers?
I can second the XTAR WP2, fenix sell them, but cheaper on ebay.

Another + 1 for the XTAR WP2, if you want a charger that does "everything" then the Nitecore Intellicharge i4 looks good.
