As per the title, I've left it too late to book for the return leg of my trip down to Devon (4 weeks time), bugger! I really like stopping there! 🙁
Anybody got any comparable suggestions? I like stopping around that point as it means I can set off fresh the next morning for a lovely drive up through the borders!

Penrith! just pick any M6 junction north of lancs.
