I'm looking at buying an old 1900 semi in the above area, but before putting a final offer in on the house I need to get a quote from a builder who knows his stuff, and in the event could do the conversion!
Can anyone recomend some one in the area, or know a good web site for builder recommendations.

Email troutie, he's a carpet fitter and lives in silsden but he may know some guys in the trade who may be able to help you.

Have you had a look at the check a trade website? My boss went through them to find his kitchen fitter. The tradesman has to pay to register and then the customer puts any comments upon comletion of work. Worth a look perhaps?
