[Closed] Rechargable batteries through the wash

Would appear that after last weeks night ride the wife didn't take the rechargable batteries out of her shorts (batteries for her headlight nothing else ya rudies!). They've now been washed on a fast wash with soap flakes.

What's the verdict, will they be ok to recharge or blow up or are they simply knackered?

Just try 'em - see what happens. I reckon they'll be fine

relax, how bad can it be

theyr probably buggered form being over drained rather than anything else.

On a similar topic i washed my Cateye Micro Wireless the other day, as left it in my shorts pocket. It kept the time and everything and works fine still. That's some decent waterproofing!
