[#4105232]

Got myself all sorted for tonights Crit, kit and bike ready.
Made a good packed lunch and took a litre of drink in with me.
So far so good.

At work a colleague notices mould in my bottle, I'd picked up the wrong bottle. So no hydration all day.
Then I had to dart out in a pool car to pick up some gear, I phone home and ask my kids to get a drink ready...no time to stop.
I collect my fluid.
Get stuck at work, get a bit panicky then realize I've left my car keys at home when I nipped in.
I've driven to work and left my car keys at home ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I just go with "I'm not fit enough" or "I can't be bothered". ๐Ÿ˜€

Just had 2 weeks off the bike trying to recover from over-training injuries. I am an arse!

I didn't race on Sunday because it was raining.

Is there a more pathetic excuse available?

Extra excuses include
1 brakes on car need replacing and it was over an hours drive away
2 I'm not quite fit enough
3 I wanted to get the lift insulated (which I did)

Sounds like you'd have a problem organising a p*ss up in a brewery. That'd be a pretty good excuse? Non?
