[#569261]

It's chucking it down again. I really cannot take another summer like the last two, I honestly don't think I will be riding at the end of the year if we have another one.

Please someone tell me we are actually going to get a summer????

We are going to get a summer*

*We may not, don't blame me if I am wrong, but just trying to make you feel positive.

Two weeks ago my local trails had dried out sufficiently to make them pleasant to ride. I will be avoiding for the next few weeks again now.

According to BBC, MRsflash, it should have stopped by 1pm and here in Leeds you and I should have 4 days of pretty much unrelieved sun!

Met Office says we are going to have a very hot summer similar to 2003, they could be MP's talking rubbish like that.

It's been raining here in Auckland, almost solidly now for three weeks and i'm getting very fed up with it. I grant you it's not our spring/summer time but the winter weather has come early this year. I feel for you

I am about to go out in the rain in Leeds - for once I have chossen function over style and I have ditched the high heels, wearing a waterproof jacket and my Merrells today.

Metro free paper was predicting a scorcher this weekend though.

We're getting a right mixture in Glasgow.

2 days of torrential sun followed by 2 days of blue skies and sunshine. It's been pretty dry overall so the trails are dry and even a couple of days of heavy rain doesn't turn them to total mush.

Northern Ireland is a nightmare, torrential rain for the last few days, and that's been in between normal rainfall. Sun is out now, but rain is forecast for the next few days.

It was a very good start had a great April and early May, but these last two weeks have set the trails back, we now could use a good week of no rain to recover!

I rode the chase Saturday and it was sheep dip hell!!

I think my problem is I feel like I used up all my MTFUing last year and the year before that. I have no MTFU reserves left ๐Ÿ™

BoardinBob - love the mistake ๐Ÿ˜€

But yeah, Glasgow seems to be going from rivers-down-the-road to sunburn territory, I quite enjoy it.

No wind damnit. I take a long weekend to go kitesurfing and what happens, the wind is forecast to drop to 5mph. Lobbocks.

nobtwidler and mrsflash - that temporary blip in the rain was clearly my fault, I went out for a coffee in my waterproof so the rain stopped. Sorry - large grey clouds looming again over Elland Road in the distance so normally rainy service shall resume shortly. Let me know when you want me to take a lunch break.

Domino you are obviously out right now as I can see blue sky - well a small patch of blue out towards Headingly. Could you maybe stand outside until say - November?

mrsflash My partner seems to have plenty of WTFU at the moment she kicked my ar*e yesterday morning around Rivington. I want to slow her down to save any further embarresment so I will find out were shes keeping it nick some and send it to you in a jiffy bag. If I cant find it I will just adjust her brakes so they bind all the time.

Scorching here in Madrid, 39C yesterday, but cunningly the local met office has ordered rain and a big drop in temperatures for the weekend.

Should be good for my BBQ and picnic I have planned ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

That is a very kind offer pantsonfire, I will keep an eye out for the postie.

Confusingly it's now sunny and raining, so I'm guessing Domino is skulking at the doorway half in and half out.
