They have some 1989 celebration day going on for some reason.. not a bad thing though, waiting for large amounts of Stone Roses!

The trail they've been running for it this week for it is quite amusing.

Talking of acid house, its worth checking[url=

this link[/url] out click on the 'FAC 51 The Hacienda' video tour thing. It's uncanny.

Brings back some happy memories of sauntering into work on the main bar, walking across the dance floor, with the place still light, and silent. The calm before the storm. It NEVER looked that clean though 😀

Just had to shut my office door cause they're playing French Kiss by Li'l Louis.

Doesn't sound good from the corridor. 😳

Whoa there with your fancy tech!

Now you are showing off with your multiple dabs 🙂

Just seen that I could do the whole technoleap in one fell swoop by getting a dab tuner and network streamer in one box.

It's sounding like Virgin Radio circa 1997. I thought we were listening to a local commercial station in the office today.

Is it too obvious to state that it's 1989?

Steve Lamaq is the most boring man in the world.

Also makes me chuckle that if they play electronic it is only Chemical brothers. Or if it is Hip Hop its Young MC.

Still its better than radio 1 in the day.

Chemicals were doing a great impression of Aphex Twin last week.

There is the odd show that i find a bit dud, but what else is there nationwide? I've come to the conclusion that i am to old for Radio 1, not old or dull enough for Radio 2, Radio 4 has the odd thing is can listen to, but 6 Music is the only thing i could listen to for 12 hours straight without becoming homicidal!!

Been some great documentaries in the early hours too which i've downloaded via iplayer, brilliant 8 hour one on history of Jamaican music etc

I wanted 6 Music to be great. I wanted it to be my new John Peel/ Breezeblock... instead it's the Hairy Cornflake's breakfast show. I sob myself to sleep at night.

It wasn't slick, that's for sure.
I'd be getting out my smiley t shirt, if my daughter hadn't gone off to college in it,

Next? Lil Louis?

I'll tell you in a minute, there's a bit of a delay between radio and internet.
