I'm looking for a phone with a physical keyboard.
I've been looking at the HTC Desire Z, any thoughts?

I can't use a Blackberry, as the carrier I have to sign up to, is naff, and I don't want to change my number, and loose the ability to travel to other countries and not use my phone.

So any suggestions?

It's easy to transfer numbers between networks, and what network doesn't allow roaming?

Can't you just buy an unlocked 'berry and put your sim in it?

I've just bought a Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro - it hasn't arrived yet so I can't review it but perhaps worth a look.

All phones are unlocked. My carrier doesn't support Blackberry, therefore can't guarantee the service (they will disrupt the service, because their competitor offers it) like I said, I can't use Blackberry.

My boss got a desire Z for the qwerty keyboard but wishes he'd just got the std desire, as he gets on fine with the onscreen keyboard.....
