looking for a decent b and b in betws-y-coed,anyone got any recommendations?needs to be at the posher end of the market rather than a "bunk house" as the non biking wife is a stickler for cleanliness etc,

Wouldn't bother...it's a dump.
I really like the chapel in Capel Curig, even got a hot tub in the garden!
Tyn-y-Fron B&B nearby is a nice joint
Its not Betws y Coed but just returned from a weekend staying at Ffynnon Townhouse, a boutique B&B in Dolgelleu. Close to Coed y Brenin and Penmachno. Rode at Llandegla on the way there and Coed y Brenin on Saturday. Am sure MrsCostello would appreciate the fluffy duvets and roll-top bath.
