I have just received an email from viewranger informing me of a facebook competition to win an HTC.
Sounds great. All you have to do is 'Like' the page and enter.
The next page I got to said that BRSCompetitions wants to access my personal data - possibly fair enough but (& here is the nub) they want to be able to post messages, status and photos as me.
Well sorry, perhaps I am being paranoid but I promptly went back & 'unliked' the page.

I do wonder about this sort of passive prostitution. It always smacks of being a bit needy to me.
It's like the kid at school who was alright but smelt a bit of damp, who'd offer to share his jam sandwiches with you if you'd be his friend.
