£86 a month for a high rate tax payer, insane value, if only it had been a 29er slash

I understand that Trek sold them at price X, post pandemic, with pressure to order x number/value to all the dealers.

Trek have now reduced the prices on their own website, so forcing the dealers to drop their prices to match. This means some dealers are loosing money on each bike sold. And some are sat on many bike still.

So yes a bargain, but it must suck to be an LBS at present.

The dark prismatic paint on that and a few other Treks is gorgeous.

An ad will go up in due course - when I've received the replacement cassette from Trek...
