Good suggestion, phoned TP customer services but no spare parts stocked and advised to return to CRC. Have ordered another one from CRC anyway as may get before Xmas and will deal with return in due course. Shame it’s the 4mm that’s missing as could live without the t10 torx or flat head screwdriver etc

Why not? Three more delivery days to Christmas.

Should have added that I'll be away.

My 3 turned up yesterday in GOLD! Dissapointed no option for frankincense or myrrh...

Added to the pile of 'cheap stuff I don't need but couldn't resist a bargain'.

Thanks for the PSA OP - I think...

All sorted now, CRC are sending out a replacement and can keep the one missing the 4mm. Big thumbs up to CRC customer services for sorting so quickly👍🏼

It’s really Topeaks problem, so send then a note of complaint. Maybe they’ll send you a free xmas gift to make up for it.

It's not, it's CRC's.

Mines out for delivery.
Evri have got mine, but now it's been "delayed", whatever exactly that means! 😂 Never mind, not in a rush for it, just hope it turns up eventually as was a good bargain!

Mine arrived but evri did their usual to confirm they simply dont give a rats about safe delivery.

I was out, so they placed it on my doormat, took a pic of the door and sent the automatic email - "Your parcel has been successfully delivered"

Anyone could have taken it and I'd be then stuck with issue trying to prove I didnt get it.

I'd love it if some company delivering to evri head office did the exact same thing. Their entire stock of office supplies left in the street and they get a 'successfully delivered' note to fine most of them have been stolen.

.

Thankfully I have a diligent neighbour who takes in parcels for me ''delivered' like this and thats now both of the only deliveries evri being the courier has delivered, the other was a new RS lyrik fork. They simply don't give a sh**.

This delay plus not delivered has reminded me of the Great Garmin Instinct saga last Christmas.

Price shot up now.

Make me feel better - have you all got two 5mm instead of a 4mm?

My 3 have finally arrived (2 for mates to get the free postage!) Really nice, plus they all have the right hex bits 😀

Mine arrived but evri did their usual to confirm they simply dont give a rats about safe delivery.

I was out, so they placed it on my doormat, took a pic of the door and sent the automatic email – “Your parcel has been successfully delivered”

Anyone could have taken it and I’d be then stuck with issue trying to prove I didnt get it.

in fairness, this has been the way for a while now… if you live in a dodgy area you can either a) use an alternative delivery method or a different retailer who uses a more “premium” courier - both these options would no doubt work out a fair bit more expensive overall b) invest in some kind of secure parcel drop box thing. Probably not a terrible idea if you get lots of parcels! c) if you know you’re not going to be in, just have it delivered to a collection point instead of your home

Evri also provide decent options for specifying delivery points, neighbours & diverting parcels etc.

Got mine for Christmas.

Took a little time to figure out what the 3mm hex key "for self care" was for 😬

What is it for? My imagination failed

Loosening/tightening the spindle that all the tools are hung on to make it easier/harder to fold them out

You can use it to remove the pivot bolts on tool itself so you can clean/ oil it, if required.

Evri say they're delivering mine to the local shop today. No notification yet though.

On another note, I ordered something from a firm in Cardiff.
Evri received it on the 14th.
Nothing since - still "being sorted at the senders local depot..."

My orders been "delayed" with Evri since 20/12/22, CRC live chat have arranged a replacement order to be dispatched 🤞🏻

I wonder how frequent that is...I've had that with every order bar 1 with Wiggle since Hermes became Evri...the second order arrives and 30 minutes later, the first one arrives. I end up with 2 of each order and I've asked Wiggle why they keep using Evri as it seems to happen frequently. According to wiggle it doesn't happen often at all it must be quite often though, surely?

I had exactly the same chat today.

Evri truly are shitehousery in the extreme.

I remember CRC used to get stuff to you almost next day via RM.

I would wager this happens more often than not.

I’ve got so many multi tools, but I hate using them, they are only any good at nipping up easy to get to bolts. A Bosch mini ratchet with a hand picked selection of bits, plus a separate chain tool makes much more sense and is a lot lighter.
I got this for £11…
Bosch 27pc.Screwdriver Bit and Ratchet Set (PH-, PZ-, Hex-, T-, S-Bit, Accessories Drill and Screwdriver) https://amzn.eu/d/7Vd9OAe

I still love a multi tool- bought three in the last couple of months.

I got one of those a few months back. On the first use, the ratchet fell apart. Return to sender.
