Like bond cars, dislike Hammond. Shall give it a chance, though.

It's good, got some entertaining snippets of info in there about how they filmed some of it.
Although some of it is undoubtedly a vehicle for Richard Hammond to travel the world and drive nice cars...

I thought it just boiled down to a hour's worth of advertising for Skyfall on the BBC, Hammond is a [James May voice] Cock [/james May voice] though.

I'm just stunned they managed to get that underwater Lotus to work. Who built it?

May was the ideal candidate for this show.

Skyfall is still too long and tedious. Even though Moore wasnt the best Bond, the ones that he featured in were the best!

That river jump was REAL? The guy voluntered? Whoaa!!!

1 take as well. Why did the stunt drivers keep crying off? Bad pay at the time?

The producers should have sprung for a barber for that director chap. Get the poor bugger spruced up and evenly shaved before putting him on HD. Give an old man some dignity at least.

That old man is 92! hope I am as lively and living somewhere warm... and franly not giving a monkeys toss as to what I look like ๐Ÿ˜€

Show was a bit of let down, knew most the stories anyway. Hammond was at his least offensive/annoying.

I thought it was hilarious that they kept saying they wanted the new Bond stunts to be REALISTIC! What??

That does not compute. The jacket he consistently wore throughout with its colourful shoulders was distracting. BTW - TKMaxx' has loads of them for sale.

I don't watch top gear, it's become a paradoy of it's self.

However I did catch the end of this special, enough to see the river jump and the underwater lotus and that was well worth seeing, I was able to ignore Hammond and see the positive in that the other two weren't involved.

92? Well played.

Still think they could have treated him to a shave.
