A local private school just closed and the accountants are selling off all the old stuff.
There's some awesome lots on there - I particularly like the Steinway grand piano, the woodwork shop stuff and the stage lighting and old costumes. Not so sure about the (used) P.E. kit though...

Interesting fact about Malsis prep is that the guy that owns Hope sent his kids there and built a 3km mtb trail for the kids... Feel a bit sorry for the kids being canned just before christmas and having to move schools at short notice. And before anyone says it i realise that private schools are generally frowned upon here but still a shame for them...

Agreed. I didn't go there but still found the lots of old trophies and honours boards a bit sad.

We used as only public school that had gone bankrupt as a location a TV show (declared the worst show on telly by Heat magazine). That still had all its stuff which was fascinating - but...the crew had to bed down for the duration in the old dorms as the school was hours from civilisation - That was grindingly depressing. I only joined the shoot for the last few days and people were drinking Absinthe out of pint glasses.
I thought private schools were booming...
Still looks like this one spend more on the Head Master's study than anywhere else...
