What's the catch with people putting up links to this particular site? People post links up to Merlin, on one etc all of the time, but the site that the OP mentions seems to be frowned upon. Why?

I think the issue is (or was) that SP requires you to be a logged in member, and members can get kickbacks for any referrals from links they post. So the mods have been trying to guard against the board being swamped and its also someone other than the site owners using the site for advertising revenue.
