Not celebrating the jubbly myself of course 🙄 but I'll happily accept any bargain beers the retailers are throwing at me.

M&S are doing 6 bottled ales (also ciders, Italian beers, and Adnam's blonde...currently chilling ready for consumption) for a tenner, which seems reasonable value.

What other offers are out there. Immagonna spend the weekend pished I think. (apart from specialguysride on Sunday of course). 🙂

Sainsburys were selling local ales 2 for £3 yesterday. I stocked on my favourites from Teignworthy Brewery, which is based about 5 miles away from my house.

And just to point out to you Southerners, some of those deals aren't legal / applicable in other parts of the UK. It'd be helpful if everyone (me especially!) said what country they saw their offer in.

There's probably some offers on Special Brew somewhere, but I tend to be too out of it to remember how much I paid for them. In fact, I suspect I may be stealing them. It's hard to tell

I've got a decent stash of homebrew now:

European Lager 30+ bottles
Aussie Lager 30+ bottles (both from beer kits)

and the following brewed from grain hops water + yeast. no kits involved:
Hobgoblin 5.5% 25-30 bottles
Citra blonde ale 4% 20+ bottles
strong pale ale 6% 10-15 bottles
session strength pale ale 4% 20+ bottles
Old Peculier 5.5% only 5 left

plus 22 litres of Old Speckled Hen still fermenting but aiming at 5.2% ABV, should be just shy of 40 bottles of that

who needs special offers? 😉

sorry DD, there was only ever one case of that, and there won't be another since I've switched from kit ales.
I'll save you a couple of bottles of the Citra Blonde though, it's very close.
