[#13534267]

Was on last night in it's new home on the TLC channel.

If you liked the original series you'll be happy with this re-boot. Just the same as the old BBC series but it seems the handcuffs have been released and they can take a few more risks.

It's been a while since the wife has shouted for me to shut the f__k up due to my laughing!

Aye we stumbled across it last night. Thought it was a repeat until they started joking about recent stuff 🙃 Almost exactly as it was which (for me) is a good thing.

+1 was like it hadn't changed, other than channel and the comedians all looking older, I do to.

I went to a couple of recordings of the original BBC version and there was a lot of excellent material that was cut out of the final TV shows. It looks like the extra time and freedom from BBC guidelines is allowing for a lot of it to remain now. Thoroughly enjoying the new shows.

Yeah I quite like the QI XL episodes.. I'm. Sure they have to be pretty brutal with the editing as there Will be a lot of crap but equally they have to squeeze the decent material into a half hour show or whatever.

I'm all for longer shows though within reason.

Just watched episode 3 and I think it's the funniest I've seen. The extra time really gives them scope to develop themes, and the comedians in this episode were really good - even Hugh Dennis, who I'm generally a bit bored with.

New summer series started at the weekend.

I watched the first episode last night and there is one joke from Rhys James which you must see. Won't say anything as it will spoil it!
