I downloaded it and watched it again the other night. It's a great window into the humility and determination of Mike Hall and the other competitors.
I rode the route in the opposite direction. I had to laugh at their thinking that once they had crossed the Rockies it would be a breeze to the east coast. Nothing prepares you for the winds across eastern Colorado and Kansas, the saw tooth climbs of the Ozarks, the rollers of Kentucky and the relentless hills in Virginia. There is more climbing in Virginia than in Colorado.
