Unless you film a year in advance then any Xmas program tends to be filmed in mid summer to autumn to allow for editing and the like.

...and we've a house in the seaside village (the background in a couple of scenes indicating to anyone with similar sporting interests, not fishing, why I have a house there), where they created a bit of a buzz when filming. I didn't see them but apparently everyone thought they were fantastic. I should probably post something about my noble self-sacrifice in not going there during these difficult times, even though I can see via our webcam I've left a light on in the ****ing living room last time I was over...
