A friend of mine wrote a book a little while ago (and to my chagrin, I've bought it but not read it yet). It's sequel is out soon, and as a promo the first one is currently free on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Judas-Iscariot-Warrior-Book-1-ebook/dp/B01AQY5M16

Why not give it a go, support indie writers? What's the worst that could happen?

Proper books gather considerably more dust IME (-:

Which Kindle do you have? Do you want to part with it? Mine's broke (I stood on the bloody thing).

Cougar would you be interested in a Kindle Keyboard? I have a Fire now, so this thing is a dust magnet.

Paperwhite with built-in light, 3G and wi-fi. Happy to part with it, e-mail in profile.

Downloaded thanks, but confused about the summary. Judas Iscariot was Jesus Dad? In that was God or Joseph depending on your beliefs on virgin births?

confused about the summary.

I'm not the author, I have no idea. I believe it's fiction.

I've got stacks of 'proper' books, I've also got stacks of ebooks - both have their place, large heavy hardcover books have their place at home, ebooks in my pocket ready for any reading opportunity that might present itself.
I love books and reading, the format is incidental to the pleasure I get from reading.

Also downloaded. Added to 'the list' that seems to grow faster than I tick them off.

Sounds good though!
